Catch Brett from Boundless laying down a mix of new and old selections at this Red Hook, Brooklyn lounge/restaurant.  Expect not a lick of radioplay music, we keep it underground with a clever mix of tunes.  Expect a group of down to earth Red Hook residents who return weekly to be entertain by moi!  Except some delicious food from appetizers through dessert. .  I recommend the pave de saumon grille w/ zucchini gratin (grilled salmon).  Sugar Lounge's rear garden is still open for penguins and smokers. I'm scared of Little Dragon.  No band should create such awe and generate such an unforgettable sound.  I'm stuck on the emotional soothe I get from the mood-melodic downtempo music, until their discodub riddims begin to effect my feet.   A portion of their potion is the vibratory exhalations of one, Yukimi Nagano.  Best described as angelic as Minnie Riperton & abstract as Bjork and funky as Eryka Badu (shoot me if I'm wrong.), Yukimi's complement is a jazz-influenced electo-soulful quartet capable exploring wide-ranging soundscapes. 

The foundation for LD's expanding NYC live show audience was established last year at LPR & Giant Step's Summerstage shows.  This year, the full US tour begins next week and LD's second album, Machine Dreams, dropped a couple months ago.  The NYC show at LPR is Saturday, November 21.  Be there.
