Creative Humans: Art and Artists of our Planet
Robi Walters and Leanne Wright are a talented duo whose unique and diverse artistic portfolio spans from some of the illest album covers and t-shirts around, to their visually captivating artwork like that of the recent Bless-ed, Superimposing the Thought of Happiness, which dazzles the mind as much as it does the eyes, with its geometric shapes and explosions of sparkly-feel good that certainly makes me (or anyone) feel happy. I had the pleasure of meeting Robie and Leanne last year in upstate New York, where I discovered they had created those well-crafted, tactile 2000black t-shirts, and thankfully are continuing to spread their blessings and wadada (wadada means love) in their work---thank goodness for that! Creative Humans: Art and Artists of our Planet. If you live within any of the 5 boroughs of NYC (or any major city for
that matter), you really can't help but notice the street art, urban
shapes, dimensions and colors, that fill this fluid canvas we create
everyday called metropolis. At times, in rare moments, we notice the
masterpiece we live in...the beauty of the city, its interactivity, and especially, it's art that
surrounds us---art that's often caught on iphones or stored
somewhere in our internal drive. Well, this blog is the first in a
series dedicated to those independent artists transforming the landscape through
their vision by making us stop and take notice of their artistic
creation---the end result of their passion and tenacity, as well as
their generosity, and that of all artists who share it with us fellow
humans and our future generations. Feel free to hit me up and share some of your favorite artists and visionaries, especially those you $upport! ; ) Vigo
